A: Let’s say the damage requires more than a few shingles, but the rest of the roof seems good for a good 10+ more years. In this case, you can have a partial reroofing which will replace only a specific portion of the roof. There are drawbacks to this option however. Partial reroofing can be more expensive per square foot compared to an full roof replacement. Also, do not expect this section to match perfectly with the rest of the shingles as they may be different manufacturers, textures, or colors based on the age of the current roof. These are all things to consider when looking at your options.
